Pakistani Abelisaurids? That’s new!

An exciting discovery has been made in the Pab Formation in the province of Balochistan in Pakistan. It isn’t quite that new, it’s just new to me, and I hope it is to you, so you learn something new today! So, a new Abelisaurid was discovered in the Pab Formation named Vitakridrinda sulaimani. It lived in the late Cretaceous, but we don’t know too much about it. We don’t know too much about this dinosaur, because all we have is ┬ábrain case, a tooth, and two thigh bones. Later a partial snout was excavated. This sure was a terrifying creature in it’s time. It measured 20 feet long and is approximately 70 million years old. This fossil find surely excites people like me! This was actually a super special discovery for me, because I am from Pakistan, so knowing that carnivorous dinosaurs once stalked it’s plains, makes me extra happy!
